Damian Tarnopolsky, who founded Slingsby and Dixon in 2015, has more than two decades of experience as a writer, editor, and teacher. Previously an editor at Random House of Canada, where he worked on books by acclaimed Canadian and international authors, his freelance projects include work for fiction writers, academic clients, and publishers.
He holds degrees from the University of Toronto, Oxford University, and the Humber School for Writers, and has taught writing and literature at the University of Toronto, Humber College, Massey College, and elsewhere. He is currently Creative Lead at the Narrative-Based Medicine Lab.
His essays and articles have appeared in the national press and online, and his creative work includes a recent collection of linked stories, Every Night I Dream I’m a Monk, Every Night I Dream I’m a Monster.
